Camp will directed by LCU Head Coach Keith Giboney, along with camp staff. Our special guest coach will be Steven McRoberts, Missouri State University (and former coach at Ole Miss, Tulsa, Central Arkansas, and Lubbock Christian).
Players will receive skill instruction in the morning sessions with college coaches and competitions in the afternoon. Other college coaches will be invited to attend to watch, evaluate and for recruitment purposes.
This camp is focused on enhancing the skills of players who are considering playing volleyball in college.

Location: Rip Griffin Center
Registration / Check-In: Registration will take place in the main foyer (southeast corner of the Rip Griffin Center) 30 minutes before the start of camp. Campers may not leave the campus between the first and last session of the day.

McRoberts was named Missouri State’s head volleyball coach on Jan. 30, 2020. Additionally, as Director of Volleyball, McRoberts administratively oversees both MSU’s indoor and beach programs.
In three seasons with Missouri State, McRoberts owns a 41-41 overall record while producing five all-Missouri Valley Conference players, including four first-team selections.
In 26 years as a collegiate head coach, including 18 at the Division I level, McRoberts owns a 628-286 (.687) overall record with 23 winning seasons and 19 years with 20 or more victories. He ended the 2022 season ranked 17th among active Division I coaches in total victories and 31st in winning percentage. Besides Missouri State, his coaching stops include Ole Miss, Tulsa, Central Arkansas and Lubbock Christian University.
A 10-time conference coach of the year, McRoberts’ teams have won a combined 13 conference regular season, tournament, and national postseason tournament titles. He has mentored a total of 20 All-Americans, 71 all-conference players, 11 conference players of the year, 12 Academic All-Americans, and 29 total specialty award winners at the conference level.
McRoberts received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in social studies and health from Harding University in 1993, and his Master's in physical education from Henderson State in 1996. McRoberts and his wife, Stacy, have three children.
What To Bring: All campers will need water bottles, athletic clothing, court shoes and knee pads.
Meals: 2 lunches will be provided for all campers at the LCU cafeteria. Campers are welcome to bring snacks. Campers may not leave campus after camp begins until the last session ends each day.
Lodging: Campers/parents who need overnight lodging will need to make arrangements on your own.
Refund Policy: Refunds before May 15th are available less 25% of camp cost. No refunds are available after May 15th.
This camp is open to any and all entrants - limited only by number of participants, age, grade, and / or gender.
